COMPUTEX 2026 recently held its pre-show press conference, announcing that this year’s edition will return to the Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall 1 under the theme “AI Together” and will feature an AI Robot Zone for the first time. Focusing on the development trends of physical AI, the exhibition will comprehensively showcase the latest achievements of artificial intelligence as it moves from technological research to industrial implementation.

This year’s COMPUTEX at the TWTC venue will bring together more than 180 exhibitors and spotlight three major themed zones: the AI Robot Zone, the E-Paper Industry Zone, and the Tech Application & Experience Pavilion, presenting a complete picture of the direction and commercial application potential of physical AI.

The AI Robot Zone, making its debut, will gather companies covering the entire industry chain from sensors, motors and reducers to system integration. Through dynamic demonstrations, it will showcase robotic applications in fields such as industrial automation, logistics and transportation, smart manufacturing, and medical and nursing care. Companies including HIWIN Technologies and Texas Instruments will present cutting-edge technologies such as high-precision reducers, humanoid robot collaboration systems, and AI vision-guided automation solutions.

The E-Paper Industry Zone will focus on green display technology and sustainable development. E Ink will join hands with Sharp, Netronix and other enterprises to exhibit full-color large-format e-paper displays, low-carbon smart labels, and medical-grade blue-light-free display solutions, illustrating the continuous expansion of e-paper technology from commercial settings into transportation, healthcare, smart cities and beyond. As e-paper gradually evolves from a simple display device into an intelligent interactive carrier, its value in energy conservation, environmental protection and digital applications continues to rise.

Centered on immersive interactive experiences, the Tech Application & Experience Pavilion will feature AI simulation cockpits, smart living scenarios and high-performance computing platforms, allowing visitors to see and feel firsthand how artificial intelligence is integrating into daily life and industrial applications, thereby further driving the development and popularization of on-device AI.

The COMPUTEX Forum held during the exhibition also merits close attention. The dedicated “Robotics, Automation & Physical AI” forum will invite industry experts from international companies such as NVIDIA, Qualcomm, ABB and NXP to jointly explore the development trends and future opportunities in artificial intelligence, robotics and automation technologies.

As generative AI, robotics and edge computing accelerate their convergence, COMPUTEX 2026 is becoming a crucial window for observing the global development trends of physical AI.
