The project by Zhejiang China Commodities City Group Co., Ltd. was constructed with a total investment of The main exhibition building features two floors with ten halls in total. These can function as exhibition spaces or banquet halls, supplemented by four underground levels housing smaller exhibition spaces and parking. Service facilities include a press conference hall with a capacity of 500, a large multi-functional hall capable of hosting 3,500–4,000 attendees or seating 400 banquet tables simultaneously, a fast-food restaurant accommodating 2,000 diners at once, nearly 20 small- to medium-sized conference rooms, and parking for over 700 vehicles, along with bars, cafés, shops, postal services, transportation, and civil aviation services. The two floors unfold with five rectangular halls arranged around a central plaza, set beyond a 23.3-meter-high hall exterior, creating a layout that is strikingly original and magnificent. The halls are designed in a unified style, with transparent accessibility between sections that remain relatively independent, alongside fire evacuation functionality ensuring simultaneous use for different exhibitions. The center embodies diverse aesthetics, culture, and services, integrating advanced concepts and innovations in exhibition functionality. It is a modern expo city combining conventions, hospitality, culture, commerce, dining, and entertainment into a single complex. With the completion and operation of Yiwu International Expo Center, the scale and quality of the convention and exhibition venues will be directly enhanced, lifting the infrastructure standards for Yiwu’s exhibition industry and further strengthening its role in market development. Improvements to supporting functions in Yiwu City will not only serve as a "building block" for establishing Yiwu as a trade city, but also lay a solid foundation for Yiwu to develop into a convention and exhibition city of national and global prominence. The expo center has also become a signature calling card for Yiwu.
