About
Shougang International Exhibition and Convention Center (also known as Shougang Park) is located in Shijingshan District, Beijing. It is a key component of the Beijing New Shougang High-End Industrial Services Zone. The center seamlessly integrates a rich industrial heritage with modern exhibition and convention functions, and is situated right next to the Shougang Big Air venue built for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. Occupying a site of approximately 200,000 square meters, Shougang International Exhibition and Convention Center comprises 15 exhibition halls and 21 meeting rooms, delivering a total exhibition area of around 94,000 square meters. Its most distinctive feature is a "cluster-style" layout, where contemporary structures are dispersed and garden-like, carefully woven into the original industrial relics to form a unique landscape composition. Features: The main structures adopt a steel design, emphasizing material recycling and sustainable development. Major Events: The center served as one of the dual venues for the 2021 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) and has since become a permanent home for the fair in Shougang Park. It has also hosted events including the China Science Fiction Convention and the AI Developers Conference. Surrounding Facilities: The park offers hotels (such as Shangri-La Shougang Park and Shougang Gongshe Hotel), commercial amenities (including a McDonald’s flagship store and Quanmin Changdu Art Bookstore), an extreme sports park, and a range of dining options.
