About
The Shanxi Exhibition Hall is affiliated with the Taiyuan Coal Trading Center. The building features a classical architectural style, with a shape that resembles a flying saucer and also an ancient jade *bi* disc. This design carries a profound symbolism, representing the new concepts and auspicious visions of the exhibition industry fostered by the exchange of technology and modern techniques. It stands as a landmark building in Shanxi. For the first time, Shanxi adopted this unique structural system, which is rare even nationwide, and it embodies the province's cherished aspirations. This exhibition center integrates trade negotiations, conferences, exhibitions, and information exchange. It offers a wide array of services to diverse clients, including office support, transportation, tourism, leisure, decoration, business services, advertising, catering, entertainment, parking, and storage. Within the exhibition area, there are two negotiation rooms, plus an additional negotiation room located in another section—each measuring 35 square meters. Meeting rooms are situated on the second floor of the west zone of the registration lobby, with areas ranging from 50 to 90 square meters. VIP rooms are found on the first floor of the east zone: two rooms of 170 and 90 square meters respectively. The second floor houses six VIP rooms, generally measuring between 50 and 90 square meters. The interior of the exhibition hall can be partitioned for events, providing separate exhibition zones of varied sizes based on exhibitors’ needs. The hall features a registration lobby spanning 3,600 square meters, handling ticketing and other registration services while also serving as the ceremonial venue for opening events. The lobby is equipped with an LED LCD screen, acclaimed as the largest indoor LED LCD screen in the country—21 meters wide and 12 meters high—playing a key role in disseminating important information during exhibitions.
