Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center

Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in Huaiyin District, Jinan, at the core of Jinan Western New City, bounded by West Second Ring Road to the east, Binzhou Road to the west, Rizhao Road to the south, and Weihai Road to the north, offering excellent accessibility. The project occupies a planned land area of approximately 332 mu, with a total building area of about 555,000 square meters, comprising roughly 375,000 square meters of above-ground space and 180,000 square meters underground. Key construction elements include convention and exhibition halls, a conference center, supporting tower buildings and public amenities, underground parking and equipment rooms, as well as ancillary infrastructure such as roads, water supply and drainage, and landscaping. The Jinan Western Exhibition Center project, with a total building area of about 555,000 square meters, features a central above-ground area of around 140,000 square meters. Each individual exhibition hall spans approximately 12,000 square meters, and the combined area of nine halls exceeds 100,000 square meters. Upon completion, this will elevate Jinan into the ranks of exhibition cities equipped with the standard “100,000+ square meters” capacity. From south to north, the Western Convention and Exhibition Center comprises exhibition buildings of 1, 1, 2, 2, and 3 stories respectively. The overall architectural design is inspired by “spring water,” vividly expressing its fluidity in every detail. The facades of the buildings and the roof structures of the five north-south exhibition halls evoke the sense of a ship gliding along a river. The five halls are interconnected through a shared lobby, which will serve as the main public passageway for visitors to move between the exhibition spaces.
