Qingdao World Expo City

Qingdao World Expo City International Exhibition Center has a total gross floor area of 200,000 square meters and can accommodate 6,156 international standard booths. The venue comprises 12 rectangular exhibition halls, each with a net area of 10,000 m², a clear height of 12.5 meters, a floor load capacity of 3–5 tonnes per square meter, and a power supply of 3,000 kW per hall. The halls are separated by a central cross-shaped concourse; the east-west section is 550 meters long with a clear width of 45 meters, and the north-south section is 350 meters long with a clear width of 35 meters, yielding a total concourse net area of 40,000 square meters. A perimeter logistics corridor 23 meters wide encircles the venue, and all cargo doors exceed 7 meters in both height and width, enabling all types of oversized and extra-large trucks to directly enter the halls for unloading. The overall design of the exhibition center takes the local historical site "Langya Platform" as its design inspiration and incorporates graceful maritime cultural elements, reflecting the harmonious unity of traditional Chinese culture and maritime culture.
