Chongqing International Convention and Exhibition Center

Chongqing International Conference & Exhibition Center is located at No. 269, Keyuan 4th Road, High-tech Zone, Chongqing. The venue comprises two exhibition halls—a circular hall and a square hall—covering a land area of 24,000 square meters with a total floor area of 25,000 square meters, and can accommodate 1,250 standard booths. Invested by Chongqing Urban Construction Investment Corporation with a total of RMB 1.5 billion, Chongqing World Convention and Exhibition Center integrates exhibition halls, conference halls, a convention hotel, and a plaza. Once operational, it hosted the 2005 Asia-Pacific Cities Summit and the 54th National Pharmaceutical Trade Fair in the same year, fulfilling the phased mission of upgrading Chongqing’s convention and exhibition hardware facilities and marking a new era for the industry. Located in the commercial heart of Nan’an District, Chongqing, it is the most technologically advanced large-scale integrated convention and exhibition venue in Western China and one of the city’s ten key social and cultural infrastructure projects. It has become an iconic landmark and the premier platform for conventions, exhibitions, and other commercial and cultural events in the region, across China, and internationally. The construction investment company contracted the Chongqing World Convention Center, formed a joint-venture management company with Hong Kong-listed Pico Far East Holdings Limited, and engaged the Asia branch of Global Spectrum as general advisor. The venue is operated strictly in accordance with international professional convention and exhibition venue management standards and services.
