About
The New China International Exhibition Center is a landmark building in Beijing. The project covers a total planned area of 155.5 hectares, with a total above-ground building area of 660,000 square meters, of which the above-ground building area for exhibition halls and ancillary facilities is 400,000 square meters. It comprises 16 divisible and combinable, standalone, single-story, column-free, large-space exhibition halls, offering a total indoor above-ground usable area of 200,000 square meters. Its design incorporates many advantages of foreign exhibition venues while emphasizing regional culture, fully meeting the requirements of professionalism, practicality, serviceability, internationality, economic efficiency, and local cultural identity. It is the most functionally complete and advanced exhibition center in China. Phase I of the New China International Exhibition Center was completed and put into operation in March 2008, featuring: economical and practical, people-oriented.
